The Schola is available to sing at weddings.

We have in our repertoire many celebratory and devotional pieces suitable for the occasion. Examples include:

Hassler Cantate Domino
Palestrina Haec dies
Victoria O quam gloriosum
Viadana Exsultate justi
Redford Rejoice in the Lord alway
Palestrina Sicut cervus
Aichinger Regina coeli
Victoria Ave Maria
Bruckner Locus iste

These are just a few samples from our current repertoire of over 150 motets and anthems. For a nuptial Mass, we can also offer a range of Mass settings and eucharistic motets. And if there is some special piece you would like that we don't already sing, we will probably be happy to learn it.

Naturally, as well as singing on its own, the Schola would also help to lead the wedding guests in any hymns or other congregational singing that was part of the celebration.

In the ars celebrandi, liturgical song has a pre-eminent place. Saint Augustine rightly says in a famous sermon that "the new man sings a new song. Singing is an expression of joy and, if we consider the matter, an expression of love". The People of God assembled for the liturgy sings the praises of God.
